Teen Endo study

There is a lack of research addressing teenagers' experiences of endometriosis, despite the fact that for many women, the symptoms of endometriosis begin during their teenage years. Adolescence is a crucial stage of physical, social and psychological development, which might pose unique challenges to the experience of endometriosis, that have not been identified in previous research with adult women.

This study aims to address this gap, by inviting teenagers and young women with endometriosis to share their stories about their experiences. The research will focus on their everyday experiences of living with and managing the condition, as well as the forms of support that they draw upon and/or need.
